最近2个星期情绪低潮,我今天和Dr JQ说是depression and frustration。同时告诉自己,就当做是例假,总会过去的。
下午Dr说Tensei和另外两个日本人要过来,五点多的生活刚好Heaven也回来了,就一起去了downtown的Thirsty Turtle吃了顿饭。这家酒吧在周二有特价,我在学期中的时候在深夜看到在门口排着长长的队伍,今天进去,看到果然很spacious,足够容纳很多人,也看出增加了疏散出口,记得当初在看DimondBack上报道说他们消防审查不过关,现在看来在fire protection确实下了功夫。
要了3种pizza,2种beer,1种coke,6个人,加1个后来的Sam。
Sam was a big fan of Hillary and turned to be a Obama-hater after Hillary lost.也不是我不关心美国政治,只是没有那么狂热,没有那么多的感情色彩,所以看到他一次次向桌子上唯一的具有选举权的美国人JQ发难时,我不时觉得好笑。
我们这边鲜有日本人,了解太少,我就问JQ,what do you think of the difference between Chinese and Japanese, since you've been these two countries many times?
自称liberal的JQ小心翼翼的回答了这个问题,Well,I think most people are the same.
All right, I'll take it as your moderate attitude. I didn't mean to start a war.
这时Heaven那边说,They said the young people at their age in Japan know the history. They know what happened in Japan in 1945?
原来那边也在讨论历史这个敏感话题,我想都没想的就直接问起了日本人:
No offense, but do you konw what happened in China in 1937?
对美国大选积极热情的Sam开始打圆场,These two countries should communicate and cooperate more, not only in economics. Maybe we can build an Asian union, just like the Europe.
That's never gonna happen,我说。
